How safe is India for Women : Is India Safe for Women?

How many women out there feel safe here in India? Are there any women who can come up and say yes I feel safe in my country? Are you there??

Its very sad to hear and see that the female child here in India the way they live their life. At the same time its very disheartening as well. Being the second most populous country across the globe, yet here the criminals are roaming like they have done some great job. Molestation, Rape, Robbery, Murder are just part of the daily life. Its really a big question to the world and to the citizen of India that why is it so? And when things gonna change?? Well has been around thirty years reading the daily paper, and every paper we go through, there is always a news about some student being raped, or some minor being raped or molested, robbery happening and all sorts of news.

And the best part is that the law. Now i will tell you why is the best part, here in India everything happens very fast. From a promotion of a Govt, employee, to the corruption, and things that are not even required for the society are in such speed that no one will notice that its happening. However when it comes to punishing the criminals it has to take ages and ages. And tough it takes ages, these criminals will be freely roaming out there thinking that they have done a very great thing.

When are you going to change, People of India?? When will a day come in India when women will have no fear mind mind to do things that they want to do. When??

Here in India, these women have to scarifise things that they want to do and stay in fear, that some day something might happen to them. Not a single day in India goes without fear for most of the women living in cities.

Why is it that men should have all the fun? Why?

Why is it that Women should sit inside the house and cook food for family??

At the time of marriage, the boy's parents wants a girl who is educated and is knowledgeable, however what will the women do after the marriage? Just sit at home and cook food? if she has to just cook food, why do they search for the educated women??

Everything is so funny and at the same time its very very sad. Yet we live in this country and still there is nothing that we can do about it. We get raped, molested and robbed everyday, yet there is no justice provided to those who commit such activities.
